Important Message To All Video Makers

This important message is specifically for people with claimed YouTube videos by WMG (Warner Music Group).

Please note: This will not work if you have already audio swapped your WMG claimed YouTube video.

Many people have become sad that WMG has been claiming YouTube videos that contain their label’s tracks left and right, but there is a solution! I came across this solution and it works. Recently I uploaded a video by the band 3OH!3, who are signed onto the WMG label, and it said my video was rejected for copyright infringement. Luckily, I got it to go public and it was very simple! Please follow these easy steps and your WMG claimed YouTube video will be made public!

1. Go to “My Videos”
2. Select “Resolve Copyright” on your WMG claimed video
3. Scroll down and Select “I want to learn more about this dispute process”
4. Scroll down and select “Take me to the dispute form”
5. Select option 2 and paste the following statement into the text bar next to it; “Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.”
6. Type your first and last name in the signature bar (This info will not be shared)
7. Paste the following statement of good faith into the text box labeled “Statement of Good Faith”;  I have a good faith belief that the material was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, and that I am not intentionally abusing this dispute process.
8. Select “Continue”
9. Select “Submit Dispute”
10. You have your video back!
